Strategic Grant Consulting

Established in 1990, Strategic Funding Group (SFG) sets itself apart from other grants consulting firms with its history of success through its full service, strategically based grants consulting to a wide spectrum of nonprofits and local government agencies. SFG has won over $800 million in grant funds for its clients through excellent knowledge of the regulations/requirements associated with federal, state, local grant/contract sources and remains up to date with any changes.

Our Services

Within the Strategic Funding Plan, SFG will propose funding strategies and goals related to specific priority areas identified by the client. SFG will also outline federal, state, and local governmental streams of funding into which the client can tap to meet their goals.

With a detail oriented and service-minded team of grant proposal writers and full-time project coordinators, SFG provides federal, state, local proposal development services. We have extensive knowledge of program design and best practices to help guide clients as they craft their application. We leverage our organizational knowledge to strategically advise clients on what will be most attractive to funders and serve their clients best.

Clients contact us during the application process with questions and also send drafts for review and comment before submission to the funding source. SFG staff work with the client to make sure they are following the Request for Proposals (RFP) exactly and also evaluate the quality of the entire package based on the scoring guidelines.

Concept papers are detailed descriptions of the client organization and program that are designed to answer every conceivable question that may be presented by a funding source and serve as a great source to present to potential partners and stakeholders in the early stages of a project.

SFG has a large network and connections with private and university-affiliated evaluators across the country for applications that require independent performance measurement and evaluation components.

SFG understands the importance of developing partnerships prior to the application process. We work with clients to build and expand community collaborations early on to give them a competitive edge.

Again, thank you for your hard work and dedication to putting together such strong proposals. You have certainly put us on the path to impacting victims of violence in ways we only dreamed of before now.
